The Principal of the Firm is Donovan de Wet. Donovan has practiced law since 1993. He was a founder/director of a well known law firm in Johannesburg and after selling out his interests has practiced for a number of years in Melbourne. In the course of his career he has represented a number of public listed companies and advised the board members on a wide range of issues also representing these companies in their litigation and other commercial matters.

He has acted for various sports and media personalities (including a retired CEO of Fairfax.) and various overseas clients in Paris, London; USA; and New Zealand. He has acted in cases in the Court of Appeal (Victoria), Supreme Court (Victoria; New South Wales; Queensland; and Western Australia); Federal Court (Victoria Registry and South Australia Registry); County Court of Victoria; Melbourne Magistrates Court; Federal Magistrates Court; Family Court; District Court of South Australia and certain of the cases conducted by him are reported.

He has conducted litigation and disputes against statutory bodies including ASIC, ATO and SRO. He has also acted for clients in tribunals including in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. In addition to handling all forms of litigation Donovan has acted for clients in many commercial transactions; insolvency related issues, and in a number of workplace matters.
